21st Century Leaders has been fortunate enough to work hand in hand with some of the world's most prominent and respected leaders. Whether from the spheres of Royalty, Business, Sport, Film, Music or Academia we have been greatly honoured by their continued support. As a continuation of this 21st Century Leadership has been created to identify, inspire and develop current and future leaders throughout Emerging, Frontier and Developing markets.

There are few leaders who are more inspirational than Mr. Mandela, on whose behalf our Founder and Chairman has worked as a Goodwill Ambassador to Nelson Mandela's Children's Fund, and in the words of this great man "A leader....is a shepherd. He stays behind the flock, letting the most nimble go out ahead, whereupon the others follow, not realising that all along they are being directed from behind." Mr. Mandela's words transcend the 20th and into the 21st Century where so much else is in quick transition.

Like so many things Leadership in the 21st Century looks very different to the generations and centuries before. Science, technology and innovation have focussed the world's attention on today's leaders whether they be politicians, Board/Senior Executives in business or celebrity there is no escaping the prying public eye and unfettered commentary of social media. It therefore falls to the new breed of current or aspirational leaders who can demonstrate a mix of global empathy, compassionate capitalism, social and environmental responsibility alongside the more traditional skills of people and organisational management
